Philastian - Sebastian = Philip yummy cooking

Dinner at Marie's place with little doggy Svea, Gustav and Philastian! Philip served lovely food: salmon, "chévrepaj" and salad. So good :)) I found the recipe (in Swedish though) and you should definitely make one at home.

Kaffe & fika med Elin

I've had a coffee free year 2013. It all started at the Ashram (New Zealand) where I stayed for three months. As they did not serve coffee, and I had nervous breakdowns every day for two weeks (like a coffee-rehab), I decided to quit. But now I've started again and I drink around three cups of coffee a week. Though I still don't eat red meat... I've been without red meat for a year now and in Sweden the meat consumption decreased for the first time ever. I love my fish and eggs!

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

New item in shop

New item in my shop! These juniper candle holders come in various shapes and have the most wonderful natural smell. Each piece is unique and include a metal case to protect the wood. A perfect gift and item to create a rustic focal point for any table. 

The entire crafting process is done by hand. I gather the wood from the Swedish forrest and let each piece dry for a couple of months. Then I cut, drill, engrave and finish each one by hand. They are all made with great care and loads of love!

Let's make some groovy noise! Another hobby next to my crafts has always been my soul music. Various kinds of soul, but true soul never fades. Last fall I went to an evening course (folkuniversitetet) and learned some basics in radio. So why not continue? 

I'll broadcast Groovy Tracks every wednesday in Studentradion 98,9 between 5pm - 6pm. So tune in and support my passion!

My dad is the king, but I'm the queen

Well it's easy to be this good at skiing when you basically grew up in the middle of the ski slope. And born with skis on his feet. My dad is the dude in black and in the back comes my little sister.

I'm not far from being as good. Only problem is that when the ski slope gets icy I look like bambi or a scared sheep hehe :) You'll have to wait for me just some seconds - I'm the one in white jacket!

Greetings from a snowy land

I'm in Austria at the moment, visiting a piece of my origin :) My cousins live in Voralberg, we're going there on saturday. But at the moment we're in Sölden, skiing on top of the glacier! So cool!!! Though the ice is melting and big parts of it is visible under the thin snow (it's been very warm in Austria lately, in Voralberg you can not even go skiing yet).

The mountains are breathtaking. At 3249m this was the a bridge towards heaven.

Victory! My sister and brother always want to compete - in who's the best in skiing. My dad is a fair judge, as my little siblings always win. Which is ok, because I'm a grown up and I'm able to handle defeat haha.

All photos are made with my iPhone... sometimes the frame froze and I thought this was it. But still going strong. I fell once, hit my but and leg real hard. My dad is a pro and he never fuckes up haha. Skiing like a king too :)
