I'm on a boat yeah

Simone lives on a boat. Her mom does too. Only hang-up: winter (which means nov-march in Sweden). Also a boat needs a lot of maintenance and Simone had to renovate basically everything in "Alfred". It looks really good now! While we sat eating I asked if it was my head or her boat moving. Very smart Sandy yeey.

Hello Titti

Very pretty Titti and I met up finally to catch up! She's studying art and works at Ikea where she helps customers to design and pick their right kitchen-interior. Very #ntch (imagine a sound you do with your fist on a dance floor to good music. Awesome that means). We studied art together a couple of years ago, but never really hung out. So glad we do now!

Another walk with Pippi Longstockhing

Me and little sister Cornelia went for another walk around "Årstaviken" in Stockholm! Though this time it was freeeeezing. But we brought hot chocolate and buns to warm up.

I really like my knew jeans, they're my length. It's not easy to find jeans that are long enough... but these Marrakesh Jeans are just awesome. Also I bought them with 50% discount. Bootcut's back!

Next time we'll bring another sweater. Taking a walk on a day like this with fresh winds, blue sky and winter-feeling... love it :) In Sweden sun goes up at about 8am and down at 3pm. So you better be outside whenever the sun is shining haha!

Last colors of Swedish fall

My friend Camila is moving to Chile in about two weeks - for the third time. She doesn't know for how long she's staying, at least a couple of months. We love to take photos together and I've become her muse haha. The best photos have been the spontaneous ones. Or the analog images. These photos were taken to capture the last colorful details of Swedish fall.

I drove to Ekarö, an hour away from Stockholm, and visited my uncle Robert. He's a DJ at Fasching and owns "club soul" and they celebrate their 20th anniversary on the 30th of November! In his garage you'll find the best of the best - vinyls worth hundreds of dollars.

Apart from getting a box with vinyls (omg so nice) I also interviewed him for something I'll call my "soul-project". If this project happens, you'll get to know for sure :) I really love this song right now, by Gladys Knight and the Pips. It's groooooovie all right!!!!

Today I met Agnes; we went swimming and sat in the whirl pool for half an hour...

I've known Agnes a couple of years now and still I smile when thinking about how we met. I was on going on a date, but first I wanted to meet up with my friend Camila to get some mental support. She came with Agnes (a classmate of hers) and we got introduced. I immediately liked her, especially as she was tall too. She was going in the same direction as where my date was waiting! As I told her that I was going on a date, she put her hand on my knee and asked: "Is he tall?" Hahahha. That's when we got friends!

Does Eva Mendes live in "Tallkrogen"?

Sleepover at Marie's place! With doggy Svea too of course :) We did some unpacking and moved furnitures to their right place. There are still some boxes around but it's looking really good already. And Marie, you look like Eva Mendes!

Marie went for an early walk with Svea, while I prepared breakfast; american pancakes with apples from Marie's garden (oh yes, owning your own house might give you apple trees). Marie loves everything in pink - her tea boiler is awesome!

Sometimes I think Svea likes the house more than Marie. She was very eager to go for a walk in the middle of the night. I felt her nose in my face several times that night haha!

Time for work! These sunny cold days are really nice in Stockholm, please don't give us rain... Thank you Marie for a cosy sleepover :)

Friberg's birthday dinner

My friend Susanna and her twin brother Gustav celebrated their birthday with a small dinner. Later on Susanna's flat got overcrowded by great people!

They'd prepared awesome food (good addition to buffet-food if you need some inspiration):
- Eggplant-mixture
- Homemade falafel
- Pickled mushroom
- Couscous salad with white raisins and onion

I've known you for about 6 years now. On this picture we just arrived to a festival (Emmaboda, Sweden) and you gave me a bracelet with "w.w.s.d" meaning: "what would Susanna do". So that I wouldn't make a stupid decision haha. And now I have a tattoo on my foot with w.w.s.d - what would sandra do :) You're so cool Susanna. Thanks for being my inspiration and a good friend!

Two tickets to the gun show!

I've been working hard on my desks this week, since I'll ship one to UK :) The desk has got a lot of likes lately on etsy, thanks! The process always takes longer than expected and this time waxing drove me crazy haha. But they all turned out very good. 

Also, I've been working on a small personal project; a side table. I found an old tree cut in half outside the workshop, so I ordered some pipes and now it's done! I'll upload some more images as soon as I've taken it home. Waxed only on top, which gives the whole table a cool look. But so heavy, won't be able to ship this thing... but if you got access to trees feel free to cut one down hehe.

It's natural

I've got so many questions about being an art drawing model when as I've told people about this little project. And now as I've experienced being model there's no "weirdness" about it at all. It started of as a small personal project: to get comfortable with my own body. Though the first day I was really nervous. Especially as the students were my age and 80% of them guys... Me and two teachers came up with a pose and then the students were let in. My only thought was "Oh my, now you're sitting here naked in front of all these people - what the f*ck are you doing Sandra. Pull it through, it's only a body". And it turned out, it's only a body. The students were focusing so hard to get the proportions and light right - I was the only person having strange feelings about the situation. In the end I even went to their halloween party and we had so much fun together!

I would definitely do it again, but for a shorter period of time. Or even be a portrait model :) Also I thought of asking one-two students if I could buy their art... but I'd rather not have myself naked up on a wall haha.
